Social commitment at JSPL lies at the core of JSPL's business and is implemented via a
cross-functional approach. JSPL’s overall social commitment is focused around three
visions:-
- Education
- Population stabilization, health and nutrition
- Clean India / Green India
This year, a cross-functional working group called the Chairman’s Vision Group was
formed. The Chairman's Vision Group included Function Heads of Corporate Communications, Sales
& Marketing, Power Projects, Environment Management, CSR, OHS, Finance & Accounts and
Sustainability departments. Together this group shapes and implements the
priorities of JSPL's social commitment within their departments and across the group of companies.
